Sikh History's power

The history of the Sikhs is something which very few people know about.. Forget the non-sikhs not even our community knows their history completely.. If today you ask a Sikh Man who was a Baba Baghel Singh or a Jassa Singh Alluhwalia, very few people would be able to relate to them. Personally, I feel that our history has the power to create the lost unity within our community. The stories of  our great men and women have so much power in them that even the Americans realize our worth. It is a fact that Guru Gobind Singh's portrait lies in the White House.. what's more they even requested the Indian Government for a statue of the great General Hari Singh Nalwa but the Indian Government refused. The problem is, today more than 80% Sikhs do not know of their heritage and it is the lack of this which I wish to work on.
